Embraced

In an attempt to stick to my colourful wardrobe for spring. For me spring should be colourful, fun and fresh but i need to embrace i wear black and white again. I just couldn't resist this coat and this ruffled chiffon dress because of its style and design. I guess my excuse for embracing black and white is because this two colours are always timeless.

Kimchi Calling

After 6 wonderful weeks together with my family and friends in Malaysia I am finally home again in Sweden. Spring is here in Skåne - the most southern part of Sweden. Spring normally start in Mars and will continue a couple of months. Spring is so beautiful but even more beautiful with the sun is shinning. 

Today was a beautiful spring day. My korean friend invited me over to her home for lunch. Of all the dishes she has cooked me my favorite one was Kimchi Soup -  a delectable and spicy traditional soup full of kimchi, tofu, veggies, pork or tuna.........It was so yummy !!!! Thanks Moonie !!!

Happy Chinese New Year 2014

For me, Chinese New Year is a time for family and friends reunion.  I was so glad that i was able to celebrate CNY with my family in Malaysia this year.

First time to experience of giving red packets. Besides, it was my first time to attend the gathering of old school friends. I met many of my old school friends of my school time. It was a bit weird but so much fun.

Never Enough

I worked far away from home for so many years and i took spending time with my family for granted. After i moved to Sweden and have my own family, i realized that spending time with family is a blessing. Even though just stay home and watch Tv with them just make me so happy and relax.

Besides spending time with family, i really can't get enough of Malaysian food. Yesterday, my dad brought us to eat Bak Kut Teh ( Meat Bone Tea ). My gosh !!!!! so so yummy !!!! Now, i am craving for Hae Mee ( also called prawn mee ). Does anyone know where can i find the best Hae mee in Ipoh ?

Back To Old Town Ipoh

Backed to my home town Ipoh few days ago. I almost drink the delights of the authentic Ipoh White Coffee every day. "White" coffee is a popular coffee drink here in Ipoh and the coffee beans are roasted with palm-oil margarine, and the resulting coffee is served with condensed milk.

Sister and i were planning to have white coffee in old town and we discovered this nice place called Sekeping Kong Heng. Testimony to Ipoh’s decadent past, Kong Heng was a hostel for the house theatre performers who performed in the adjacent theatre building. The theatre building was burnt down in the 50s. Recently, it was rejuvenated. Sekeping Kong Heng will be able to offer guests a slice of history in the real old town setting.
